It's less of a tight squeeze than you would think. He's about 6 and a half meters long, and a nice chunk of that is submerged under the water. He has enough space not to hit the building, even if he does thrash around a little.

He'll be fine, though. I raised him, after all. It's tough to get the Asuka Seal of Approval, but this guy managed.

Besides, he doesn't know that many moves, other than Splash, Tackle, and Thrash. Bite, too, I think.
