You should talk to them. At least Dave and Jade if it's too weird to talk to John about it.
They're your friends. If this is really, really bothering you and IT IS then if you put your foot down and tell them that just laughing off what you're uncomfortable about isn't helping, then they'll listen. The bunch of you have been through a lot but sometimes
Sometimes jokes go too far. And people don't realize there are hurt feelings. My whole group of friends kind of thrived on that sort of interaction, but if people actually spoke up when they were hurting, maybe things could have gone different.
