✎ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it! Ashley tends to hug and touch her friends, offering physical comfort when needed or teasing them with friendly punches. She's a little rundown, so it will surprise her and she may jump, as a warning!
✎ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Usually I'm cool with it, but please run it by me first! If she has access to something sharp she will try and stab in retaliation. 😔
✎ RELATIONSHIPS: I am not only down but INCREDIBLY open and encouraging. She's got a hell of a lot of baggage considering the traumatizing night she went through, which lead to the deaths of her friends and the boy she was in love with...which she may have had an unfortunate hand in. So, you know, it won't be a walk in the park, but still, I put her on the table. I play her as hilariously straight but if the right girl or nb comes along I'm open to reinterpreting.
✎ MEDICAL INFORMATION: She's going to have a bunch of healing scrapes and cuts and a gnarly black eye for the first two to three weeks. No other things to speak of besides like. The anxiety disorder and the PTSD.
✎ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Ashley will be very jumpy in general...but she'll have a sharp reaction in particular to monsters, particularly implications of metamorphosis into a monster, cannibalism, and general horror scenarios. She also in general does not take well to choose who will live scenarios and threats of violence. Should you get on her bad side, she may be inclined to leave you high and dry when the time comes...which is more of a feature than a bug when you're being put through the character development wiggler.
✎ BODY HORROR AND CANNIBALISM: Body horror of the involuntary transformation style may come up in threads with Ashley, along with talk of cannibalism! The two are linked so I figured I'd put them here. What also may emerge are talks of extreme physical violence and death. If you'd like to avoid talking about this, let me know!
✎ PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA AND TORTURE: In a "choose who will live or die" kind of way and heavy manipulation flavor. Ashley may talk about some uncomfortable and upsetting SAW-like scenarios, along with general PTSD so please tell me if you'd like to avoid that!
✎ PARENTAL ABUSE: Past, physical. This one is related to a headcanon that I'm adopting that ties into her general anxious nature. It's VERY unlikely to come up, but it may be referenced in narration or the like, so please let me know if you'd like me to avoid it in threads.
✎ SUICIDE AND SUICIDAL IDEATION: Not from Ashley herself! But talk of her friend Josh may inch towards discussing this, particularly if Ashley is stressed. ...Which she usually is. It's the kind of suicidal ideation that's like...it comes with burning of all your social bridges as well?? So pretty messy. Ashley's feelings towards Josh may not be entirely sympathetic, so a small warning for that as well.
✎ DRUG USE: Another headcanon but this one is less sad and more this girl smokes weed. In the beta Ashley was a stoner and the more I sit with it the more I think it's very funny if she is NO ALCOHOL and YES WEED. She uses it for anxiety and if we find any space weed you can bet your bottom dollar she is going to imbibe. Let me know if you'd like to avoid mentions or potential interaction with that!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
✎ VISUAL: Ashley is 5'3" with an average build, her weight centered around her hips and thighs. Hazel eyes. Hair is reddish, like an auburn color. She has a pale complexion and a round face, and she doesn't look like she's been sleeping well like, ever. She's often found in layers and hats and fingerless gloves, and though her clothes will be soaked with dried blood, she's going to try and find a way to replace those with a similar match, damn it!! Rip to her cute outfit, honestly, farewell jacket, goodbye shorts, those tights are TOAST. In terms of her accessories, she'll be keeping her hat, her ring that matches the brand new gemstone in her hand, and her necklace.
✎ AURAL: Ashley's played by Galadriel Stineman! She's on the lower end of the vocal spectrum. Ashley usually tries to speak clearly when she's calm or trying to appear intimidating, but as she gets panicked, she'll speed up and just babble or devolve into noises. Here's a good sample of her voice

✎ DEMEANOUR: Have you ever seen a squirrel on edge? That's kind of what Ashley's like. Before living through a horror game, she was already a jumpy girl by nature, but now she's likely to start when people approach her just on naturally instinct, at least for the foreseeable future. If she's incredibly comfortable around you, she's likely to let down her walls and joke around, but she'll always be somewhat on-guard. Ashley-via-text (however that may become relevant here) is much more put together than Ashley-in-person or on-video, but she still gives off the impression of a frightened animal most of the time.
