Samara Phantump ♀	In March, Ashley trained quite a lot in Sprout Tower. Beat a lot of ghosts, fought her fears. One little ghost would not leave her alone. It followed her out of the tower. To her hotel room. All the way to Goldenrod City, through grass and caves and glitches. Simply put, this Phantump is the ultimate stalker. Ashley, wanting nothing to do with ghosts if she could help it, avoided her; Agatha was her starter so that's unavoidable, and she didn't know about Jadis, but she would not willingly capture a ghost. ...So she thought. While looking for some cat Pokémon to capture, she found some of them attacking her number one fan, ganging up on her and knocking her around rather viciously. When Phantump saw her, however, she looked excited. Despite the pain she was going through, she still genuinely wanted to see Ashley. There's only so much you can watch a defenseless creature take before you step in to help it...even if it is a ghost. Ashley shooed the cats away and rescued the Phantump the best way she knew how: by catching her, to take to the Pokémon Center. Jane pointed out she could have just picked her up and carried her there, but Ashley stubbornly ignores this logic. Maybe some part of her grew fond of the persistent little stalker. Either way, this Pokémon is now hers. For awhile, she had no idea what to name her, as she doesn't read a lot of ghost stories! ...Then Moon Prom happened and Josh showed up and one thing lead to another and somehow she came out of that with Samara the Phantump. Samara loves the name and Josh himself, missing him terribly, and Ashley every-so-often tries to get her to respond to Susie instead but. Mostly she just deals with it.
